Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 June 2026

Fly on the Wall ("Fly", "we") is a macOS app that helps you during meetings, interviews, and presentations. Privacy is the core of the product, so this policy is short and concrete.

What happens on your device

What leaves your device

To generate an answer, Fly sends only the text needed for that answer — your question plus the relevant conversation context (for the live copilot, the running transcript of the current session; for cross-meeting questions, only the retrieved passages) — to Anthropic's Claude API.

Accounts & what we store

There is no login. A license key (glk_…) identifies your plan. We store:

We do not store audio, transcripts, prompts, or model responses on our servers.

Service providers

Your choices

Use bring-your-own-key mode to keep us entirely out of the loop. Delete local transcripts at any time (they're plain files on your Mac). To delete your account data (email + license), email us.

Disclosed use: Fly is built for honest, disclosed assistance. Please follow your employer's or institution's AI policies. The screen-share-invisible overlay is a privacy feature (like a password manager staying off a shared screen), not a tool to deceive — and it is best-effort, not guaranteed.

Changes & contact
