Is my audio recorded or uploaded?
No. Transcription runs on your Mac with Apple's on-device speech engine. Only the text needed to answer is sent to the model — never raw audio.
Is the overlay really hidden when I share my screen?
It uses macOS content protection, so it's excluded from the usual screen-share and recording paths (Zoom, Meet, Teams, QuickTime). It isn't guaranteed against every capture method.
How do I get my key?
Emailed automatically right after checkout. Paste it into the 👓 menu → Settings.
